Location: The candidate needs to be based in The United States of America or Canada for this remote position and be able to work in Eastern Standard Time.

Job Description: Are you a numbers wizard with a passion for precision? ProShop is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while providing strategic insights to drive our business forward.


  • Ensure all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions are accurately recorded and processed daily.
  • Maintain a clean and adequate record for general ledger accounts and transactions.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
  • Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist with the company’s expense reporting activities, ensuring that all expenses are recorded accurately, receipts are verified, and any discrepancies are promptly addressed.
  • Regularly review and reconcile company credit card accounts, ensuring all transactions align with company records and addressing any inconsistencies.
  • Continually improving the organization’s level of customer satisfaction by Collaborating with team members to improve and streamline accounting processes.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Respect, enable, and maintain the company’s professional team culture.
  • Resolve conflicts with others effectively. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary to support the accounting and financial reporting functions.


  • Must be based in The United States of America or Canada and be able to work Eastern Standard Time.
  • Bachelor’s degree w/major in Accounting or similar.
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience or other relevant experience.
  • 1-2 years experience using QuickBooks. 
  • Experience working with remote teams. 
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: This compensation range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to geographic locations, job family, job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs.

Canada: $69,600 – $106,700 CAD annually

US: $67,200 – $115,000 USD annually
