Job Description:

We are looking for a vibrant, energetic, and dynamic candidate to join our growing team. As a user experience (UX) designer, you will assist in the creation of satisfying compelling experiences at any or all stages of the design process. Ideally, you’d be an advocate for outstanding design standards, and capable of either taking initiative of providing creative solutions on your own, or implementing a set of actions with guidance from the product team.

We aim to better understand our clients’ needs, behaviors, and emotions because our clients deserve to receive the best experience possible when utilizing our product. The perfect fit for this position is someone who is able to empathize with our users and is able to see things through their eyes. Someone who can deliver human-centric solutions that represent the true voice of our external and internal clients!

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the development of innovative user experience solutions that meet project requirements, and help communicate complex concepts into clear and concise product improvements.
  • Conduct basic user research. Analyze such data and document research findings or recommendations that justify making certain design decisions on deliverables.
  • Develop an understanding of user behavior accurately, and translate it into actionable outcomes that employ essential design thinking principles.
  • Be able to execute common standard UX deliverables including empathy maps, personas, user journeys, sitemaps, process flows, wireframes, low/mid-fidelity designs, and prototypes.
  • Self-manage and prioritize creative outputs for day-to-day duties based on our long-term strategy. Take care of one or many projects effectively at any point in the iterative design process.
  • Collaborate with the Design Lead(s), and uphold research and design processes, standards, procedures, and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Portfolio and work samples showing essential user-centered design skills, visual representations that show your end-to-end iterative process, as well as interactive prototypes (when available).
  • Competent in design thinking principles, as well as capable of proactively foreseeing and fixing common user experience problems during the design phases.
  • A human-centered mindset that can translate functional, technological, and operational constraints into user-focused opportunities.
  • Able to manage multiple projects or competing tasks and be self-directed in a quickly evolving environment that requires working independently, and also as part of a team.
  • Highly proficient in the use of design and prototyping software such as Adobe XD, InVision, or their functional equivalents. An understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication proficiency, as well as analytical documenting skills that can support one's own work.
  • Certification or Associate's Degree in design, computer science, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent field / professional experience. Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.

Salary Range: Compensation based on role, skills, and experience.
