Create a Virtual Tour of Your Shop

September 28, 2020

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”5383″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]ProShop was mentioned in an article on the Production Machining blog!

This article talks about the idea of having an “open house” as a part of a shop’s marketing efforts. They can use this open house to demonstrate capabilities to customers as well as promote themselves as a  viable career option to potential new hires.

Because of COVID-19, many shops are having to drastically limit or even prohibit visitors from entering their facilities. Another option to having an open house at a time like this is to upload a video to YouTube. Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions (one of our ProShop clients, click here for more info on that) has taken this one step further and provided a self-guided virtual tour that enables people to “walk through” an area of its shop to see and learn more about the technology that piques their interest.

This tour allows you to pick and choose which area of the machine shop to visit and learn about the technology used there, such as machine tools, cutting tools, workholding devices, coolant, CAD/CAM software, shop management software and metrology equipment. If you click on the monitor on the virtual tour, you can see information about ProShop there.
